At the LWV Comal Area Annual Meeting, we honored our local libraries with Educating for Democracy Awards and heard from Texas Library Association Intellectual Freedom Committee Member Dorcas Hand about how to support libraries.

Receiving an “I Voted” sticker is one of the highlights of voting and children accompanying their parents to the polls may also receive a “Future Voter” sticker. The League of Women Voters Comal Area (LWVCA) is sponsoring a voting sticker art contest for kindergarten- twelfth grade students in Comal and Guadalupe Counties April 15 - June 16, 2024.

Early voting for the 2024 Texas Primary Runoff Elections starts Monday, May 20 and Election Day is Tuesday, May 28.

If you voted in the March 5 Primary, you may vote only in the runoff for that same political party. If you did not vote in the March primary, you may vote in either party's runoff. See what's on the ballot, find links to polling locations and more on the lwvcomal.org/voting page on this website.
