Comal County Elections Coordinator Cynthia Jaqua invites the public to an Open House and Demonstration of the Verity Duo voting equipment that combines touchscreen voting with an integrated thermal printer to produce a ballot with a paper trail. To vote in the polling place, you move through the ballot, mark your choices and print your ballot using the familiar touchscreen interface. You then cast your paper ballot using a separate scanning device. Winning artwork from the LWV-Comal Area's 2021 Your Vote Is For Me Poster Contest for K- 8th graders will decorate the Elections Office.
